The team at Triscan have walked over 3 million steps to raise vital funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Staff members have been recording all steps using fitness trackers and totalled 3,642,835 throughout July.
Collectively the team raised £620 in sponsorship, which was then matched by the company to total £1240.
The funds will be added to the pot for the year to create an annual total from various events.
Every year, The Triscan Group set up a fundraising event for their chosen charity partner because an important part of their company ethos is to give back to others in the community.
RMCH was nominated by employees to be the group’s 2019 partner after helping some staff members personally.
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is one of the largest and busiest children’s hospitals in the UK with over 350 paediatric beds.
Their specialised services provide care for children and young people across the North West, the UK and internationally.
They also provide general paediatric care for children and young people living in Greater Manchester.
