Fuel management hardware and software supplier, Triscan Systems had an interesting 3 days at the recent Euro Bus Expo in Birmingham. The company’s new range of pumps and integrated fuel island controllers (Integra) were on display for the first time and brought a lot of attention from both industry commentators and potential customers.
Fuel efficiency and cost management were still high on the agenda of the topics being presented at the show, which is why Triscan chose to exhibit and promote their range of 24 new models in the Technology Zone. The new fuel pumps and integrated fuel island controllers feature an extensive range of flow rates and have a number of twin speed options to cover most commercial fuelling requirements in addition to an emergency stop button, fuel and water particle filter, a break coupling and pump stool – all standard features with each pump.
An encouraging sign was the number of vehicle manufacturers that were present and showing off their latest vehicles. These included Alexander Dennis and Plaxton; both of which are Triscan clients. The increased demand for public transport has been good for the technology sector and Triscan, with its broad base of customers across the sector, has been able to assist with the relentless efficiency, security and cost control issues that face most, if not all operators.
Marketing Director Barry McLeod is pleased with the outcome – “The bus and coach sector is a key market for Triscan and we had no hesitation in using the Expo to launch the fourth product range that Triscan has brought to market in 2012; there is more to come in 2013”.
Following an extremely busy year which has seen fresh investment in the Lancashire based fuel management business, Triscan’s team of fuel management experts continues to grow and with new products being added regularly to its ‘Source to Exhaust’ product portfolio, the company looks set to go from strength to strength.
