The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) North West Region is delighted to announce its first confirmed sponsor for the 2010 North West Awards for Logistics & Transport to be held at Cranage Hall, Holmes Chapel. Triscan Systems Limited of Blackburn have committed to supporting for the second time, the Student of the Year Award.

Barry McLeod of Triscan said “Triscan is delighted to continue its support of the student of the Year Award, which is in line with our association with CILT NW region’s educational project and our sponsorship of “Where is the Geography?” – Key stage three resource which has already been adopted into the curriculum by three high profile schools in the region: Alder Grange Community & Technology School Rawtenstall, Ripley St Thomas High School, Lancaster and Balshaw’s Church Of England High School, Leyland.

Chairman of the NW Region, Simon Reynish added “North West Region is delighted that the success of the 2009 awards is sufficient reason for Triscan to further develop their relationship with CILT and the joint aspirations to increase educational awareness about the Logistics & Transport industry.”
