CEMEX are one of the market leaders in concrete production with a wide range of products and solutions which are specifically designed for house building, industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.Timeplan, part of the Triscan Group, have been looking after the fuel management at CEMEX since 2005. CEMEX originally had an old Timeplan Sigmastore system on site. When the system became obsolete it became essential for CEMEX to replace the items quickly in the most cost-effective manner. This is where The Triscan Groups wide experience and dedicated project management team comes into play.

Any old system passing through several thousand litres of fuel over numerous years will eventually need replacing but, here at Triscan, we pride ourselves on being able to offer the best and most affordable turnkey solution. In this instance, due to the age of the original kit and the requirements needed by the fuel management system, our project manager advised the customer to switch to a DataTrack Padlock system.

A big concern for the customer was making the change from using the card to access the device. The old system meant taking a card to the machine downloading the data and then transferring the data on to the PC system. The new padlock system completely moves away from this allowing the customer to use simple key tags instead.

One of our dedicated Triscan Group engineers installed the Datatrack Padlock fuel management system, which links via data transfer key to our PC based Supervisor software. The Electronic Padlock FIC links to the onsite Piusi pump. With a 12 month warranty as standard, CEMEX can rest assured that their new system will secure their fuel island and prevent fuel theft. The Supervisor V5 fuel management software grants single site, single user access whilst allowing/prohibiting fuel keys. The software reports feature costs and audit data whilst controlling fuel ordering and tank levels to give the operator complete control of fuel stocks.

The engineer provided a full run through of equipment and on-site training was given to ensure CEMEX could start using their new equipment quickly and to the best of its ability.

“Our old system needed to be upgraded and the new DataTrack system is very similar to our old one. The engineer explained the full system to us and was very polite.” CEMEX
