Towens run a busy operation and it became key to add a full fuel management system to their site in order to monitor fuel usage.
The installation included a 42,000 Litre integrated bunded storage tank, which conformed to BS799:5-2010 standards ensuring the highest quality and complying with the relevant oil storage regulations. The tank specification included a full end cabinet with a roller shutter door allowing a secure and tidy storage location for the pump and fuel management system.
The Hytek Alpha Twin pump and OLE 5020 tank gauge were installed prior to delivery to help speed the installation process up. Once the tank was delivered to site the engineers were able to quickly add a Triscan Apollo 2 fuel management system to the cabinet and carry out the relevant electrical connections to get everything up and running as quickly as possible.
The Triscan Group engineering team liaised with Towens to ensure fuel was delivered on the same day to allow for a quick commissioning process resulting in minimised downtime.
This turnkey process included a full training package so that one of Triscan’s software engineers could ensure Towens are now able to use the fuel management software to its maximum potential.
