From the first contact with The Triscan Group, Rapid Readymix were allocated a dedicated, PRINCE2® accredited, project manager. The two companies worked together to find the best layout, tank design and system for the site. In this instance, the pump house (cabinet) was set inside a bespoke 15,000-litre fully bunded split diesel and gas oil tank allowing it to be installed underneath a mezzanine floor to ensure no loss of yard space.
To save valuable time, the bunded tank arrived on site with a pre-installed Zeon twin pump and all associated wiring. This high-quality ATEX approved pump was then commissioned and connected to Triscan’s elite fuel island controller, the Apollo 2™. The only site requirement was the provision of a mains electrical supply and Triscan took care of the delivery, offload and intricate positioning.
Developed in house, Triscan’s Apollo 2™ offers the most flexible management of authorising access to fuel, capturing odometer data at the fuel island or automatically transferring the data to the system by an on-board vehicle device or imports from third-party systems. The Apollo 2™ seamlessly integrates with Triscan’s Odyssey World™ software ensuring real-time, web-based fuel management for Rapid Readymix to manage the issuing and account for every drop of fuel.
This turnkey installation ensures the service of a wide range of vehicles including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, plant vehicles and a fleet of vans and cars.
